I like Spurlock’s work. He has a way of getting to the core of an issue in a creative way. Give him credit–at least someone’s looking for Bin Laden. I think Ebert owns the rights to the “thumbs up” thing, so you guys tread lightly or a phalanx of lawyers will be showing up .

Morgan Spurlock never ceases to impress me… i just saw Super Size Me, which was amazingly insightful, and now he’s making a documentary designed to make people sincerely consider the war on terrorism; well done indeed

Romulous intrigues me — it seems like at the very least it will be intricate, and since it’s mostly true, probably will be realistic enough to make the intricacies satisfying. And I must know about the bees.

Comments on the unsettling Penelope thing:
1. The most enjoyment I garnered from that trailer was in thinking about White Christmas and freckle-faced Hanes the dog-face boy.
2. Here’s some irony: the name Penelope comes from the Greek “penelops”, which is kind of duck! Apparently the wife-of-Odysseus Penelope hung out with ducks enough that she was named after them.

because i just got back from ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS.

it was 10 times better than i thought it would be. I laughed out loud throughout the movie and recommend this piece of cinema to all!

Walk Hard looks to be hysterical. I might even go see it, even though I detest the movie theatre. I really and truly LOL-ed when I watched that trailer.

How dare you! I can’t wait to see Alvin!

Kidding, kidding…my 9 year old won’t even see that crap.

I am Legend is one I’ve been waiting to see. I like Will Smith and even though like you guys said, you get the same Will Smith in every action movie he does, it’s always a fun ride.
I do want to read the book first- it’s supposedly the inspiration for the movie Dawn of the Dead.
